Six Benefits of Brainwave Entrainment

300x250

  1. Enhance Your Whole Brain Operation

The quality of your entire life can be transformed if you improve your brain function. The word holographic comes from the word whole. The fascinating feature of a hologram is its wholeness and its inability to be divided into parts. The human brain can be used in a whole, holistic, or holographic way. On the other hand, your brain can be used in a partial, unbalanced, or fragmented way. Unfortunately, in our world right now, using our brains in an unbalanced and fragmented way seems to be the norm! Most of life’s illusions, difficulties, and limitations are directly related to unbalanced brain function. The first benefit of brainwave entrainment is that it synchronizes your two hemispheres into working in a holistic way.

2. Stimulate Clarity in Your Thinking

Have you heard of the “Mozart Effect”? Just look it up in Google. In the early 1990s, a team of psychologists discovered that sound waves could improve your brain’s ability to think. In writing his great music, Mozart “accidentally” improved brainwave function in those who listened. People still buy Mozart CDs today to help students learn math and other subjects better. However, with scientific design and feedback, today’s Brainwave Entrainment audios can stimulate the brain even better. When your brain is functioning properly in this way, you simply think more clearly.

One of the best brainwave entrainment audios I’ve ever listened to is the Brain Evolution System. 30 minutes of listening helps to refresh me, center me, and balance my thinking.

3. Abolish Your Addictions

Fragmenting our consciousness causes addictions. We divide our brain experience into past, present, and future. When we divide our awareness in this way, we actually start to believe that we are a victim of our circumstances. When we play the victim role, we experience fear, anxiety, depression, and other limiting emotions. We also experience procrastination, need for approval, difficulty in making decisions, and other ineffective feelings and behaviors. When we lack confidence, we engage in compulsive and addictive behaviors for temporary relief from tension and anxiety. What we are really seeking is wholeness and peace, but addictive behaviors never satisfy. Proper brainwave entrainment can reestablish harmony and wholeness in our brain and end these addictions.

4. Ignite Your Creativity

Have you ever had great ideas in the shower? How about while immersed in nature? These experiences help our brain to open up and break free from rigid pathways. Brainwave entrainment audio tracks can also ignite your creativity by “hooking up” parts of our brain that normally are dormant. These new brainwave patterns help us solve problems in new ways. Creativity isn’t just about artistic pursuits. Creativity means better relationships, better finances, and better health. Seeing the world in bright new ways will help you in every area of your life.

5. Intensify Your Energy Level

Here’s what the brainwave entrainment audios actually do, in very simplified form. The headphones give you slightly different frequencies in each ear. Your brain takes those two frequencies and creates a third frequency, which then aligns your own brain waves into a different pattern. Your brain kind of takes the “difference” between the two frequencies and matches that. When I listen to the audios I go into a very deep relaxation state that rejuvenates me more than a nap! Our modern world makes it hard to get into those deeper relaxation states. Thus, we feel tired most of the time. Brainwave entrainment makes it possible to hit those deep wave states, and this gives us increased energy levels.

6. Increase Your Productivity and Financial Situation

The increase in productivity comes from all of the other factors listed above. When you think more creatively and have more energy, you can’t help but do better financially! Some of you will get promotions as your skills and confidence increase. Some of you will start your own small business or home business with your new ideas. Whatever you do to make money, you’ll do it better with your brain operating at full power.

Now, here’s a bonus question for you. Why Do We Need Brainwave Entrainment? Well, why are our brains so fragmented and working at half-speed? Think of our world situation and the forces that affect our bodies and brains. Most people run a hectic schedule and never get enough sleep. They use computers and cell phones that disrupt their brain patterns. Other reasons for poor brain function include poor nutrition, emotional denial, and relationship conflict. Brainwave entrainment isn’t a cure all, but it sure can help you handle life more successfully. You also need life balance, proper sleep, time in nature, and sometimes therapy or counseling. The best thing for you to do is to give the brainwave entrainment a try. You can start your 21-Day Trial by clicking on the link below.

Soundtrack That Plays in our Mind

f4389-ptsd

(excerpt from PTSD)

Someone once said that we all have a musical soundtrack that plays in our mind. Where did this come from? My guess is years of programming from everything from commercials to music. Everything we have ever seen or heard is in our brain somewhere. Have you ever wondered why a song is in your head and you cannot seem to get rid of it?
My research and questions to people have found that it may pertain to our emotional and psychological state at the time. I wake up and hear a song that may be a “trigger” or an “anchor” to something from my past. Sometimes it is about a girl, other times it will take me to places I do not wish to go.

Remembering things and forgetting them constitute two ways that our subconscious protects us. For some reason Veterans like us find ourselves vividly remembering incidents, people, places, and things that may have warped our thinking and judgment. Sometimes this will manifest itself negative ways, we may become isolated, have panic attacks or bouts of confusion. The practice that works for me is replacing those old songs with something new and different until I can handle them. Sometimes it takes leverage (pain) to take action on these situations. If we are in enough pain, we will respond with whatever action is needed for change to take place.

Create new memories with these songs or replace the words with something that makes you feel good. My neighbor burns his trash on his farm, I can smell it a mile away, and it takes me back to Somalia just about every time. Alternatively, another personal favorite of mine is when he shoots one of his cows in the head when he sells one. Just the gunshot makes my mind move into fight or flight mode. The other day I opened my truck door to let my dog out when we went to the park. Just the way the handle “popped” put a ringing in my ears and I was instantly back to a place I did not want to be. By practice, taking action and using trial and error I have learned to change my state in a split second and move to a more comfortable place.

I have become a firm believer in “garbage in, garbage out.” I replace those songs (old ways of thinking) with other motivational material or with new songs (new ways of thinking) and I create a peaceful fun environment for my subconscious. Remember that our subconscious cannot distinguish between reality and fiction. It will only do what our conscious mind tells it to do.

If we say, “I can’t” the conscious mind tells the subconscious “okay boys; he says he can’t do it so let’s prove him right.” If we say, “I can” the conscious mind says “okay boys he says he can so let’s make it happen.”

PTSD and Meditation

Today, there are a lot of things that help in keeping us
entertained. In the internet alone, there are a multitude
of websites that do such that like video sharing sites,
gaming sites and other websites which cater to our
interests. This, at times, can be a detour to our healing.

While there is nothing wrong with entertaining ourselves, a
problem arises with our constant need for distractions.
Because of that, it becomes difficult for us to focus on
one thing.

We do not need to take extreme measures to help us focus.
There are practices which can do the job for us. It
includes the practice of meditation.

People take up meditation for different purposes and
improving concentration is one of them. There are several
methods by which meditation does its job.

One is through breathing exercises. Even an exercise that
is as simple as being aware of the times we inhale and
exhale can do wonders to our ability to concentrate.

While it may sound easy, it can be quite difficult
especially if one has to deal with distractions such as
outside noise.

At times my mind is like Grand Central Station.  Buddhist call this
“Monkey Mind”

Another method is by reciting a mantra. A mantra is a
phrase or a sound that is recited repeatedly. For
Catholics, praying the rosary is a form of a mantra.

The repetition becomes the center of the meditation to
which the person’s attention becomes focused.

There are other more methods by which meditation can help
improve concentration. However, the two mentioned above are
the most basic and could help beginners start out with the
practice.

A useful way to send new messages to your subconscious mind

2. Write a list of 5 affirmations that you want to repeat regularly

These affirmations should be related to the goal you want to achieve. For example, if you want to do better in study, you could say “I study well”, “I am organized”, “I do well in my exams”. These will help to build your confidence and change your thinking if you are struggling on these things.

3. Repeat the affirmations you have, every single dayDo this for 1-2 minutes at most. This is all that is required. Repeat it as if it is true and in a confident way with passion. This allows the messages to penetrate more easily in the unconscious mind.

4. Affirmations only change your beliefs. Physical action must be done by you

You will still need to put the physical actions in to achieve what you want. The affirmations are only changing the beliefs, but physical action allows you to take advantage of those beliefs in the best way possible. As you learn to focus your mind and establish greater control within, greater results overall can be created for you.Overall, affirmations can be a useful way to change your thinking and belief systems. When repeated with passion and as if it is real, it can enter your unconscious mind (same as the subconscious) and be charged with the power of intention. This means you will act as if the belief is true, and this will help to carry you in the direction of your goal. However, remember than you still need to put in all the physical efforts to make maximum progress from this.

Self-Esteem: the Magic X-Factor

Self-esteem is one of the most important aspects influencing your performance and success in many areas of life. It can help you get a job (and keep on getting promotions!). It can help you make friends and get dates. And people with high self-esteem generally feel happier, healthier, and more stable and secure.

Don Hamachek is a highly respected author and researcher in the field of psychology. He’s had a big influence on studies of self-esteem and interpersonal relationships. His research was published in Encounters with Others (New York: Holt, Rinehart, & Wilson, 1982). Here are some of his findings on the importance of self-esteem:

People with high self-esteem . . .

  • Usually see other people in a better light, too.
  • Expect other people to like and accept them.
  • Perform better in high pressure situations, and do better work when the standards are high.
  • Feel confident and secure enough to shrug off negative comments from others.

On the other hand, people with low self-esteem . . .

  • Frequently dislike others.
  • Expect that other people will dislike and reject them.
  • Have trouble performing under pressure, and find it hard to work in demanding environments.
  • Are more vulnerable to negative comments and reactions from others.

These tendencies can spill over into all areas of a person’s life, with major consequences. That’s why self-esteem is the critical factor – it’s one of those make-or-break variables that has the power to transform your life, for good or bad. High self-esteem is a little like a magic spell that works in any number of situations.

If you’re struggling in any area of your life, whether personal or professional, it’s possible that your problems are just symptoms of a bigger problem: low self-esteem. Find a way to improve your self-esteem, and you can expect things to start improving in lots of ways.

Core Inner Strength, a hypnosis program developed by Dr. Shirley McNeal, is a fun and easy way to improve your self-esteem. What’s Between Your Ears

The Brain

The left side of your brain controls the right side of your body. This is your conscious functions like logical thinking and verbalizing (words).

The right side of your brain controls the left side of your body. This is your intuitive thoughts and subconscious (images).

When I was a young soldier, I had no confidence. I was pitiful, awkward, and emotionally a mess. If it wasn’t for the Drill Sergeant and other soldiers I was training with I would have never made it through Basic Training or my Advanced Training.

They would tell me “you can do it”, “you can make the shot”. After awhile I was telling myself “you can do it, you did it once before, you can do it again”. (Success breeds success).

Eventually it all became second nature to me (perfect practice makes perfect) and when it counted and lives were at stake it happened out of pure instinct from all of the training. Of course it is a bit different when others are shooting at you. But I was so conditioned to execute what I had learned that it came naturally. I basically relived the past successes. “you can do it” you can make the shot”.

“More sweat on the training field equals less blood on the battlefield”

Col. David Hackworth

Great musicians have said they heard the music in their heads and then and only then did they write it down. When we are awake we are mostly under the control of our left brain. Those flashes of inspiration come from our right brain.

Okay now why is this of any importance of all you may ask? The answer: the images you see and the words you say to yourself have more power than you could ever imagine.

We talk to ourselves everyday not even aware of what we are saying to empower or sabotage our lives.

A good rule: avoid self defeating images and languages.

It took many years to find out what was between my ears and how to use it to help my fellow man. I learned that I had an incredibly high IQ (which is worthless if you don’t use it,) remember Knowledge isn’t power. Knowledge with massive action is power.

I owe many of my blessings in my life to A couple old Vietnam Drill Sergeants that pushed me to understood what I had to face someday. We never talked about the nightmares and demons that one would deal with. That was something back then that you just did not do. You sucked it up (usually from a bottle of booze).

That’s another story….
