The Secret Behind Subliminal Messages

180x150_02

What makes subliminal messages so effective? The secret behind them is a fact that advertisers have known for decades; the more people are exposed to something, the easier it is to influence them.

Suppose, for example, that you want to give up smoking. You know it’s bad for your health, it’s expensive, and it’s becoming more and more anti-social. You have the desire to give up, for all the right reasons, but just can’t seem to take it to that final stage.

Believe it or not, your conscious mind is getting in the way. No matter what you really think, you don’t have the ability to put it into practice in the regular course of events. Your day is busy, you’ve got lots of other things on your mind, and you haven’t given the idea of quitting smoking enough priority.

The Subliminal Advantage

Subliminal messages are positive affirmations presented to your ears or eyes at a rate or volume that your conscious mind is unable to detect. Your subconscious mind, however, takes in everything. These messages bypass your logical conscious state and go directly to your subconscious. If messages are sent frequently enough they’ll start to change the way you think, and therefore the way you behave.

Someone who wants to give up smoking might be presented with subliminal messages similar to these:

• I am stronger than cigarettes
• I respect and nurture my body
• I am able to resist the temptation of smoking

Reading these three short affirmations on a page won’t produce any magical results within your subconscious mind. But imagine the impact if, instead of three messages, your subconscious was exposed to thousands – over and over again – for a couple of weeks. All the research shows the same thing: gradually your attitude changes, and then your behavior.

How Subliminal Messages Work

Some people argue that, if you can’t hear the sounds, or you can’t see the images, how can they possibly make any difference? The point is that you aren’t aware that you’re hearing or seeing the messages, but your subconscious mind still takes them in. That’s the reason why subliminal messages work in the first place – because they sneak into your head, bypassing your conscious rational mind, and getting at the core of your belief system.

You’re exposed to subliminal messages every day. You might have the radio on in the morning when you drive to work and keep hearing about a new film that’s just come out. The first time you hear it you give it your attention. As the days turn into weeks you’re no longer consciously listening to it, but the information flows into your subconscious mind. If it’s a film that interests you, this constant subtle reminder will probably be enough to get you to go to the cinema and watch it.

Now think how powerful that process would be if it was something you desperately wanted to achieve, like giving up smoking. Your determination combined with the mind-changing power of those positive affirmations makes a winning formula. Eventually you’ll think of smoking as a disgusting, destructive habit that you can’t believe you started in the first place.

If you really and truly want to make lasting changes in your behavior but can’t seem to find the impetus to get going, try subliminal messages. You’ve got nothing to lose and the chance to gain a new and more rewarding lifestyle.

My Review of Nitrofocus: “Get More Done in Less Time… With an MP3?”

Nitrofocus Introduction from Inspire3 on Vimeo

www.nitrofocus.net

Sharper focus. Enhanced concentration. Greater productivity. Getting into “The Zone.” More motivation.

In the 2011 film ‘Limitless’, Bradley Cooper simply popped a tiny pill, and suddenly the whole of his brain power activated. All of those traits suddenly flickered into play.

He was able to blast through work, quickly and intelligently. He could study more and better than ever before. He finished chores at lightening speed. He could come up with ideas and predictions at the speed of thought.

‘Limitless’ was a great film — and a brilliant fantasy for the rest of us.

But, what if all those benefits were actually available — right now?

And not using pills, but by using a simple little ‘brain hack’ that involves nothing more than an MP3 file?

That’s the claim of a new program called Nitrofocus. Intrigued, I decided to try it out for myself.

The Power of Brainwave Science

Nitrofocus is a new MP3 audio program. It uses special ‘brainwave’ tones to help increase focus levels, and bring about those ‘Limitless’-style benefits.

Now, all this talk of brainwaves initially sounds quite complex. But it works pretty simply.

The Nitrofocus MP3 audio contains frequency patterns, which match the brains natural ‘focus’ frequencies. All of these frequency tones are cleverly embedded inside audio tracks.

When you play the MP3s, and your brain hears them, it naturally copies them – thereby bringing about a natural state of sharp focus and concentration.

This is a scientifically-proven process known as “brainwave entrainment.”

Researched for over 100 years, brainwave entrainment has been used to help reduce pain levels, increase mood, help patients overcome insomnia, lower stress levels, and so much more. The more I learned, the more I was fascinated by the applications. And for over 40 years, commercial applications of brainwave entrainment have been available to the public – and at the cutting edge of this research was Nitrofocus.

I was hooked. I had to find out more. So I decided to try it out for myself.

My First Listening Experience with Nitrofocus

The basic Nitrofocus experience is available as a free 7-day trial.

Once you start, you’re immediately sent one of the main Nitrofocus sessions — the 1-hour “Nitrofocus Classic” MP3 — alongside a couple of other bonuses.

(By the way, this trial literally didn’t cost a penny. If I wanted to upgrade to a VIP customer later on, they would unlock further sessions. But the trial was completely free regardless, and you can even keep the existing Nitrofocus sessions should you decided to cancel.)

The Nitrofocus MP3 instructions are simple: just listen while you work. It sounded like something from a Disney movie.

So, the very next day, I gave it a go. I had to write a few articles for one of the websites I’m involved in. To help me out, I decided to play the Nitrofocus MP3 in the background while I worked. It’d be a great opportunity to trial the program.

I hit ‘play’. The Nitrofocus Classic sounds begin.

Initially, it all sounded rather strange. A series of very soft, rapid tones, all over a bed of gentle ocean-like static. I slip on a pair of headphones (optional) and begin my work.

Suddenly, it’s lunchtime.

And I’d not just completed one article. Rather, I’d completed a huge six articles, many of which I’d been putting off for weeks. I’d also completely cleared my inbox, and sat there wondering what to do next. I’d already finished the next 2-3 days work, with effortlessly and with zero stress and resistance.

At first, I didn’t credit it to Nitrofocus. I put it down to one of those “good runs” that writers sometimes (although rarely!) get.

I left my office early, and decided to spend time with my family the rest of the day, instead of indulging in even more work. I actually feel reluctant in taking off the headphones. The sounds are so immersive, like a cuddly comfort blanket, I feel I just want to leave it playing.

Encouraged, I decide to take my experimenting to the next level.

Blasting Through Messages, Chores and Reading

Over the next few days, I decided to continue using Nitrofocus, and measure the difference it made to my day.

I listened regularly to this simple 1-hour Nitrofocus MP3, all while doing any task that I needed to get in ‘The Zone’ with. And it started making a huge difference in my life.

I began blasting through my work quicker than ever before. I blitzed through my inbox, my writing, my project planning, my creative work, and so much more. Suddenly things just became easier. I listened while doing house chores. I got through them in minutes, and time just fly by, when it would’ve otherwise been a real drag. I used it when reading, and managed to get through around three business books within a single hour.

The motto of Nitrofocus is “Get more done, in less time” — and, at least in my experience, the statement was really holding true.

Just in case you were wondering, the Nitrofocus MP3 can be played on loop while you work. You can use it with or without headphones. And it includes special “white noise” sounds to help block out background distractions that may be sucking away at your focus levels.

Within the first week of listening, it’s fair to say that Nitrofocus doubled — perhaps even tripled — my productivity, all without any of the downsides usually associated with overworking. I experienced zero stress. To the contrary, I felt happy, breezy, refreshed and content.

Then, my account got unlocked…

Exploring the Full Nitrofocus VIP Program

I decided to continue beyond my 7-day free trial.

The friendly people behind the site sent me a few emails regarding this process, and upgraded my account to a Nitrofocus VIP account. The total cost was $97.

That’s when the full program suddenly becomes available to you. And then WOW. I was impressed. This was where all the real value existed.

The full Nitrofocus program contains 5 main Nitrofocus MP3 sessions, each lasting 1 full hour. These are Nitrofocus Classic, Nitrofocus Digital, Nitrofocus Easy, Nitrofocus Workout and Nitrofocus Ocean.

You use all of them just like the original Nitrofocus Classic MP3, however they each have their own different styles, so you can choose the one which most matches your mood.

For example, Nitrofocus Workout I found to be just brilliant for using at the gym, or when doing household chores. It was a high-energy Ibiza-style workout mix that just had me pumping. And Nitrofocus Ocean was a more relaxing session, which I tended to use more when writing in the evenings.

They all do the same task of sharpening your focus and rocketing your productivity — but each have their own unique style to match how you feel in that moment. Just choose the one you want to listen to!

The full Nitrofocus program also contains a 50-page user guide, and 7 supporting ‘brainwave’ MP3s.

These are: the 5-Minute Break MP3, the 10-Minute Break MP3, the Brain Booster MP3, the Focus Gym MP3, the Memory Commit MP3, the Analytical Builder MP3, and the Anxiety Reducer MP3.

These sessions are all intended to support your use with the main Nitrofocus program. The 10-Minute Break MP3, for example, I found incredibly relaxing, and it made for a nice break between those super-productive hours of using the main Nitrofocus MP3s. Memory Commit helped me commit a full speech I was working on to memory, and Anxiety Reducer helped me to calm down just before delivering it.

When I first heard of Nitrofocus, I had thought it was just a simple, single MP3. I was wrong. Nitrofocus is an entire brainwave MP3 package, designed to help seriously improve your life — all much more comprehensively than I had ever imagined.

It also comes with extremely friendly lifetime support, and membership to a highly active forum, where you can share tips and stories with thousands of other users.

Conclusion

I’m normally quite the skeptic.

Yes, I knew that brainwave entrainment had been scientifically-proven for over 100 years. Yes, I understood how it should theoretically work. Yes, I fell in love with the drama of the marketing.

But I didn’t realize what a genuinely powerful and real-world immediate affect it would have on me. All within minutes, and all just by listening to a simple MP3.

The results using Nitrofocus have just gotten better and better over the past month, and it’s fair to call me a total convert.

I earned back the cost of this powerful program within the first hour of it increasing my productivity.

I genuinely now see it as a no-brainer, and I’ve already recommended it to several of my closest friends. From housewives to executives, and everyone in-between: if you want to get more done in less time, then the Nitrofocus program is absolutely for you.

It’s “Limitless” — but without the risk of taking a pill.

Just hit play, and watch your life change. It literally couldn’t be easier.

My recommendation: Buy it!

PS. I wrote this review in exactly 12 minutes 🙂

Pros – Rapid results. Sharpens focus like nothing else. And it really works!
Cons – Download only (no audio CD version). No telephone support.

Brain Exercises

Unleash Your Genius with Genius Brain Power

When people think of exercising it often involves physical exertion to strengthen muscles. The human brain is also an important “muscle” in the body and with the right brain training and brain exercises you can help keep your mind fit, alert and ready to handle the rigors of a typical working day. Often brain exercises come in the form of games that help train the brain improve memory, strategize and think in advance. Some common forms of brain exercise include chess, memory games and mathematical problem solving.

Another way to exercise the brain is through brainwave entrainment. Isochronic tones are computer generated tones that are pulsed at specific frequencies to achieve desired effects such as productivity or relaxation. Although brainwave entrainment is not a new practice — binaural beats have been used in brain training since the mid-1800’s — the use of computer generated isochronic tones has become more popular lately and are also proving to be more effective in helping people improve their memory and intelligence.

Unfortunately when most people stop formal schooling, either by achieving a degree or choosing to drop out, the study habits and brain training that was part of their daily schedule also ends. The memorization and critical thinking that helped get us through school shouldn’t have to stop just because a specific goal has been reached. In fact, if you don’t keep up with brain exercises your mind will become lazy and won’t function in the as sharply as it used to.

Keeping the brain sharp requires exercise the same way muscles in the body require regular work outs to maintain a defined shape. The more you train your brain with brain exercises including strategy games, meditation and brainwave entrainment the better your memory, cognitive thinking and problem solving will be. We can’t expect our brains to always operate at the highest levels possible, but we can take proactive steps to help improve our focus, retain information and prevent memory loss.

Solitude

This is a subject that is one of perception. Think if you will the last time you actually did not have any distractions from the radio or TV or the telephone and you just set still closed your eyes and let the world come to you.
A great philosopher said “don’t do something, just sit and let the world come to you”. After all of these years I realize this person meant to let the world come to my inner self, or as Napoleon Hill puts it “your other self”.
Your other self consist of those things and dreams that have been buried inside of you because of all the external input that we allow to come at us on a daily basis. The other self is the dreamer who has goals and a vivid imagination of how his or her future will be. The other self directs the subconscious by the words and physiology that we use to maximize our strengths and minimize our weaknesses. To know that the only limits we have are self imposed by us and our references. Be still and know that the inner voice will guide you and when you have an intuitive thought ACT ON IT!!! Don’t hesitate.
Remember when you where a child you always could play “make believe”. Well, I am here to tell you that you can have make believe now and by believing you will receive. The subconscious mind cannot distinguish between what is real or imagined. This is one of the greatest secrets that I have learned. Any mistakes I have made in the past I go to my memory bank and relive them in solitude by visualizing the way I wanted them to come out. Then I can feel that emotion of happiness, joy, laughter, or prosperity.
The choice is yours Pain or Pleasure. I think we all have experienced enough pain in our lives to want pleasure. It is human nature to move from pain to pleasure don’t fight it when you fight it this only leads to frustration.
Remember Imagination without eventual mobilization leads to massive frustration. So act your way into right thinking only after you have looked inside for that beautiful creative “other self”

Gratitude Lifts The Weight of Anxiety

Let me tell you why the art of gratitude is such a great tool for ending anxious thoughts.

A lot of people write telling me how their anxiety makes them feel very cut off or removed from the world around them. This sensation can be distressing as people fear that they will never be able to feel normal again.
This feeling is common and in my experience is mainly fueled by a cycle of anxious thinking.
A person with a panic disorder or a generalized anxiety disorder will spend much of their day mentally “checking in”.
Checking in is a term I use to refer to how people with anxiety constantly monitor their mind and body.

“Am I feeling ok?” “How are my thoughts ?”
“Am I feeling secure or on edge right now?”

The reason regular checking in happens is because anxiety has such a powerful effect on the mind and body.
People tell me that they can deal with the anxious bodily sensations but it is the anxious mind that causes them most distress. That is what I want to address today.
Anxiety can often feel like a thick fog has surrounded your mind. Nothing really seems enjoyable as you are always looking out at the world through this haze of anxious thoughts and feelings. This fog steals the joy out of life and can make you feel removed or cut off from the world.
The anxious thoughts act as a barrier to experiencing the world and this sensation of separation then leads to feeling even more upset as you fear losing touch with yourself.
So how do you get this anxious fog to lift from your mind?
When someone is very caught up in anxious thoughts they are top heavy so to speak. The constant mental activity they are engaged in has caused an imbalance where all of their focus is on their mental anxieties.
A powerful way to move out of this anxious mental fog is to switch your focus from your head to your heart.
By simply making a deliberate shift of attention to your heart you will find the anxious thoughts dissipate more easily and the mental fog starts to gradually clear.
You can make this switch by practicing the art of gratitude.
I am sure you have heard of people speaking about the art of gratitude and the benefits it can bring to you.
Did you know that it has now been scientifically proven that regular practice of gratitude can dramatically change your bodies chemistry giving way to a more peaceful body and mind.
The Heart Math Institute has 15 years of scientific research proving that a simple tool like the art of gratitude can dramatically reduce stress and improve performance for individuals and organizations.
Many Fortune 500 companies are now starting to use this technique to reduce work related stress.
I am going to outline the technique briefly in a very straight forward exercise so you can start practicing right now.
When you practice this exercise you will feel a lightness and greater sense of perspective on any matter that has been troubling you. This activation of your heart emotion will lift the sensation that anxious thoughts create.
This is a very simple exercise but it is really powerful. Print it off and try it someplace where you can be alone.
Are you ready?

-Begin by closing your eyes and moving your attention to your heart area.
-Imagine a feeling of warmth emanating from the center of your chest.

If appropriate place your right hand there. If you are around people or driving etc. simply imagine your right hand resting on your heart area.
Imagine this area glowing warmly for one to two minutes.

-Now, begin to focus on something in your life that you feel a genuine sense of appreciation for.

This can be one or more things that you really appreciate having in your life (e.g., family, health, friends, work, your home, a beautiful day etc).
It is important to focus on things that spark a real sense of gratitude and appreciation. If you really appreciate the thing you are thinking about, you will immediately feel a response from that area by way of a light warm sensation in your chest or an involuntary smile (remember those).
It does not really matter what you think about as long as it evokes this feeling of warm appreciation from your heart area.
Don’t struggle with this exercise. Everyone has something they can be grateful for. (Remember, the cemetery is full of people who would love to have your problems!)
Do not worry if you are thinking of your partner/family and you do not feel this. Some days it will be people close to you that will spark the heart feeling, other days it may be gratitude for very simple things like the fresh air you breath. It depends on the mood you are in, -remember it is the feeling you after.
The feeling we are looking to achieve is unmistakable, it is a positive change in your emotional state.
I say it is best to do this exercise alone because you will need to stay with this feeling for as long as you can.
Then, when you feel you have taken it as far as you can, open your eyes.
There is no time frame on this exercise, it can be a few minutes to half an hour. Again it is about establishing a heart/mind connection and getting your awareness out of the anxious thoughts and more into your body.
After a few attempts you can incorporate this into your daily routine.
Do it in the car. Do it sitting at your desk. Do it before you sleep at night.
You have to practice it frequently. Just like a muscle your heart will get more accustomed to this state and you will be able to switch into that feeling in seconds.
With practice you can also use this exercise in the middle of any stressful situation. You will be surprised at the positive outcome in terms of your own stress levels and the change in others around you.
This simple exercise can completely transform the outcome of interacting with other people, be it work or personal relationships.
This is especially true where there is conflict or misunderstanding between you and other people. Try it out, see what happens!
Be creative with it and make it your own daily ritual for yourself.
I am sure you agree that it is a worthwhile exercise to incorporate into your daily life. It is my experience that most people do not have the patience or time to make major lifestyle changes. By using this one simple exercise you can make a dramatic improvement to the quality of your life.
The simplest things in life are free and this is one of those gems.
Don’t pass it up

The 10-Day Negative Thought Fast

dreamstimefree_261166

Would you like a simple way to really change your life? Instead of merely getting by, you’ll find that your life can truly be exceptional when you focus on positive solutions rather than the constraints of your challenges.

This 10-Day Negative Thought Fast, originated by Emmett Fox, one of the most popular self-help authors and speakers of the early 20th century, is an adventure you’ll reap many benefits from. Here are the rules:

1. If you break any of the other rules, you must start the 10 days over from the beginning. To get the full effect, you must complete 10 consecutive days. Giving up negative thoughts is a little like giving up a drug; you’ve got to stop using them completely, otherwise you haven’t truly quit.

2. You cannot focus on a negative thought or remain in a negative emotional state for more than five minutes. Ideally, the time should be much shorter. Five minutes should be plenty of time to recognize what’s going on and put a stop to it. Remember, even one instance of lingering for more than five minutes means starting over.

3. You must focus on solutions. When the negative thoughts start, the idea is to immediately start contemplating possible solutions. Spend your time solving your challenges instead of focusing on them. * If you’re like most people, you’ve probably had the same challenges for quite a while without resolution. It’s time to try something else instead of dwelling on what’s wrong. This sounds deceptively easy, but you may be surprised how difficult it is to give up negativity. We tend to think that worrying helps in some way. But you’ve probably been worrying about a lot of things for a long time and they haven’t improved.

When you’re faced with a negative thought (and there will be many!), the best response is to think to yourself, “How can I solve or improve this challenge?” The point is to immediately begin focusing on solutions. When you ask a good question, you’ll receive good answers.

Over the 10 days, you’ll begin to form a habit of immediately recognizing a negative mental state and then focusing on solutions for what you feel negatively about. If you continue the process after the 10 days are completed, you’ll develop a permanent habit that will only require a minimal amount of maintenance.

You might need several attempts to complete the full 10 days. It’s common to have numerous slips on day one and then a few others later in the process. Refrain from beating yourself up over it. Remember, you’re focusing on solutions.

Taking Your Focus Away From A Negative Thought

One way to help keep the negative thoughts at bay is to ask yourself positive questions like the following:

* What’s great about today?

* What do I like the most about this?

* What am I most proud of?

* What am I most looking forward to?

If you’re filling your mind with positive thoughts, there’s no room for the negative stuff. And since we can only consciously think about one thing at a time, making the most out of your thoughts makes sense.

Try this 10-day adventure and see if it doesn’t change your life. You’ll be so amazed at the results that you’ll never want to go back to the old way of dwelling on the challenges in your life. So start this process today and change your life for the better.

Meditation

Meditation is proven to be one of the simplest and most effective
ways to handle stress, and it’s easy enough that anyone can do it
and begin enjoying the benefits immediately. In fact, most people
find that regular meditation helps them prevent stress from
building up in the first place.
If you have ever wanted to start a meditation practice but kept
putting it off because you didn’t know how to get started, you’ll
be pleased to know that it’s probably easier than you think.
Try these two easy steps for starters:
Quiet your thoughts.
One of the most helpful aspects of meditation is the way it shifts
you to a state of being, rather than thinking or doing. This is
accomplished by finding a quiet place to be alone and simply
focusing on emptying your mind of all thoughts. That may sound
impossible at first, but “emptying your mind” doesn’t mean you
won’t still have thoughts moving in and out of your mind.
What it means instead is that you won’t be attached to any of these
thoughts. You simply step back mentally and observe, rather than
engaging with any particular thought. You will still be aware of
your thoughts, but you won’t be “in” them, if that makes sense.
You want to get to the place of being fully detached from your
thoughts so they aren’t dominating your focus any more. Simply sit
back and allow your thoughts to flow effortlessly by, while you
keep your focus on nothing. Slowly inhale and exhale, inhale and
exhale – and you’ll feel stress and inner conflict begin to melt
away almost immediately. If you do notice that you have latched
onto a thought and you’ve begun thinking again (you probably will
do this several times, just out of habit), let go and gently return
your focus to nothing. It does take practice to master, but you’ll
be amazed by the peacefulness this technique can inspire.
Create a peaceful haven in your mind.
Another great technique is to create a soothing, imaginary haven in
your mind. This can be a real place you have visited before, such
as a beautiful botanical garden, an ocean beach or lake front, or a
place that exists only in your own mind. This mental haven does
not have to conform to the usual laws of physical reality, either.
Your haven can be a serene oasis nestled between an ocean, a
forest, botanical gardens – and even an amusement park! You can
make it as fun, beautiful and whimsical as you like.
Spend some time “creating” this mental haven and put as much detail
as you can into it. What does it smell like? Are there beautiful
flowers that give off a pleasant fragrance? Can you hear birds
singing? Is the breeze warm or cool on your face? Keep going
until you’ve made it seem as real and rich as possible, and then
begin spending a few minutes there each day. You want to become
very familiar with the sights, sounds, scents and essence of this
place, and spend enough time there that you automatically relax the
moment you call up the mental image.
Then, whenever you find yourself stressed or in need of a little
nurturing simply close your eyes and mentally flee to your peaceful
haven for a few minutes!
You can make this process even more effective by listening to a
high quality meditation program like Deep Zen by Holothink. This
program will help entrain your brainwaves into a deep meditative
state that is extremely relaxing and quieting.

It’s Me, Your Subconscious

BffdG6tIQAAfbnn

We need to talk.

The problem I have is with the food you’ve been giving me.

I mean – so much negative news… So many stories of scarcity and limitations…

You should know that I really soak that stuff up!

And I can’t help but leech it back out.  (It’s what I do – soak stuff up and give it back to you)…

I can see all the negativity affecting your beliefs and your ambitions from time to time…

And I know I could do so much more for you if I had the right food to work with.

Do me a favor, and cut back on negative messages for a while. Turn off the news. Don’t read those Facebook stories about awful problems a world away for a little while…

And if you’re willing, give me something positive to chew on… Something that reminds me of the endless abundance of the universe…

I know I can help you a lot right now, and really set you up for some big wins… if you just give me the right stuff to eat.

-Your Subconscious.

P.S. This message was sent on behalf of Your Subconscious by Josh Burns and The New Hypnotists.

If it struck a chord, feel free to pass it along.

If it left a bad taste in your mouth, I apologize.

Some messages are worth being a little creative. And some problems require out-of-the-box thinking.

P.P.S. If you’d like to feed your subconscious something powerful and packed with abundant mindedness, this will do the trick

The Power of Your Mind

Change Your Life With MindMaster! Click for a FREE TRIAL

Many of us know about using the power of the mind to achieve our goals to get what we desire in life. Although most people are aware of how powerful the mind can be, very few actually use this information!

Why not?

I think it’s because we are afraid to believe it can be that simple!! But it truly is – we just have to look at the success of people like

  • Tony Robbins
  • Wayne Dyer
  • Louise Hay

…who have all used the power of the mind to help people. Just recently Doctor Oz demonstrated on his TV show how self hypnosis can be used to help people lose weight.

How Can You Make It Work For You?

The concept is simple – we have to re-train our brain to change our behavior. Nobody acts in a random fashion. We all respond to stimuli (sight, sound, smell, touch, taste) from things around us. But here’s the secret – we respond in ways that are dictated by our brain. Some things are learned way back in early childhood, others like smoking or over-eating are acquired later.

Where this ingrained logic really lets us down is when we need to change our behavior. Which is easier to do – reach for our favorite ice cream or eat an apple? This is the crux of the problem. We have to re-program our brain to automatically reach for the apple in this example.

In other words get your brain to tell you how to act the way you would like. If you can do this you will definitely achieve the things you want to in life.

Here’s The Secret:

Positive affirmations are a very successful method for modifying our thoughts and changing our actions to improve our lives. The affirmations are usually short phrases framed in a positive way that we can read or listen to frequently. A good example would be ‘I will become a non-smoker’ (rather than “I will stop smoking’.) Constant repetition of these affirmations will register on your inner self and will result in changing your beliefs.

Repetition… is the key to success.

If you do something often enough, it becomes a habit. After that, you continue to repeat the behavior without consciously thinking about it. Driving to work is a great example – you keep a watchful eye on the traffic but you find the way there automatically.

So, when you do want to make changes in your life you have to repeat the new behavior a sufficient number of times until it becomes habitual. This is the hard part of the change process. For instance, many people write down their goals in detail, and look at them a few times but then gradually forget about them.

The only way this will work for you is to:

 Get to the habit-forming stage!

Now there is a great way to do this easily by using a computer program called MindMaster. Every time you turn on your computer, MindMaster will flash your positive affirmations on the computer screen, over and over until your thoughts become actions!  The affirmations flash so quickly you won’t even notice them – but they still register on your subconscious mind. You can set the message speed to your preference.

Take the first step to really change your life
