Sad, Happy, Angry or Depressed; Here's Why

Sad, Happy, Angry or Depressed? Here’s Why. Take any day in your life and notice the messages that you are bombarded with. From the moment you get up with the radio or TV blasting away with mindless “news” that is nothing more than a shock factor.

Get in your car and you slug out to your radio, commercials mindless dribble from the local shock jock or worthless information to keep you tuned in for what pays the broadcasting companies bills. I am referring to commercials.

You reach your destination and you get the newest “ain’t it awful” news from the water cooler gang discussing the latest tragedy from somewhere in the world.

Wide Asleep

Anyone who thinks all of this input does not affect them is what I call “Wide Asleep”. This is why it is very important to be in control of your thoughts and emotions. Granted, yes there are some programs that are informative and entertaining. Just be aware of what is going into your conscious and subconscious mind.

Try alternatives to the morning news or the radio. You can listen to motivational MP3’s, CD’s and Audible in your car. Don’t get involved in the gossip around the office. Sometimes you can just meditate all day without anyone knowing. (yes it is possible)

It is a positive thing to be aware of what is going on in “your” world. Just stay “aware” of what is and what isn’t. It will also keep you in tune with what is making you sad, happy, angry, or depressed
