PTSD and Meditation

Today, there are a lot of things that help in keeping us
entertained. In the internet alone, there are a multitude
of websites that do such that like video sharing sites,
gaming sites and other websites which cater to our
interests. This, at times, can be a detour to our healing.

While there is nothing wrong with entertaining ourselves, a
problem arises with our constant need for distractions.
Because of that, it becomes difficult for us to focus on
one thing.

We do not need to take extreme measures to help us focus.
There are practices which can do the job for us. It
includes the practice of meditation.

People take up meditation for different purposes and
improving concentration is one of them. There are several
methods by which meditation does its job.

One is through breathing exercises. Even an exercise that
is as simple as being aware of the times we inhale and
exhale can do wonders to our ability to concentrate.

While it may sound easy, it can be quite difficult
especially if one has to deal with distractions such as
outside noise.

At times my mind is like Grand Central Station.  Buddhist call this
“Monkey Mind”

Another method is by reciting a mantra. A mantra is a
phrase or a sound that is recited repeatedly. For
Catholics, praying the rosary is a form of a mantra.

The repetition becomes the center of the meditation to
which the person’s attention becomes focused.

There are other more methods by which meditation can help
improve concentration. However, the two mentioned above are
the most basic and could help beginners start out with the

End Anxious Thoughts In 4 Easy Steps

panic away

After having visited my site I can almost imagine what your repetitive anxious thought might be. Maybe it’s a fear of:

  • -a panic attack
  • -never being free of general anxiety
  • -a bodily sensation that worries you
  • -a fear of losing control to anxiety

My name is Barry McDonagh and I have successfully taught thousands of people in over 30 different countries, how to end general anxiety and panic attacks. Whatever your particular fear is, I want to share some tips and techniques with you over the coming days that will not only help you end these fears but also reduce your general anxiety level dramatically. After many years of coaching people to be anxiety free, I have noticed that those who experience panic attacks or general anxiety almost always deal with the frequent occurrence of anxious thoughts. Anxiety has a sneaky way of seeding doubt regardless of whether the fear is rational or irrational. So what can be done for people who suffer from repetitive anxious thoughts? To begin, lets look at how an anxious thought is powered and then I will demonstrate how to quickly eliminate the intensity of the thought. Say for example you are going about your daily business when an anxious thought enters your mind. Whatever the nature of the thought, the pattern that follows is usually quite predictable. The anxious thought flashes briefly in your awareness and as it does so you immediately react with fear as you contemplate the thought. The fearful reaction you have to the thought then sends a shock-wave through your nervous system. You feel the result of that fear most intensely in your stomach (due to the amount of nerve endings located there). Because of the intense bodily reaction to the thought you then get sucked into examining the anxious thought over and over. The continuous fearful reaction you have to the thought, increases the intensity of the experience. The more you react, the stronger the thought rebounds again in your awareness creating more anxious shock-waves throughout your body. This is the typical cycle of anxious thoughts. For some it feels like the anxious thoughts are hijacking their peace of mind. Because of the reaction you are having, you may continue to spend the rest of your day thinking about the anxious thoughts you experienced. “Why am I thinking these thoughts?” “Why can’t I shake off this eerie feeling?” The harder you try not to think about it, the more upset you become. It is like telling someone ‘Whatever happens do not think of a pink elephant’. Naturally enough it’s all they can think about. That’s the way our brains our wired. So how can you eliminate these unwanted anxious thoughts? To begin with:

  • -when you start to experience anxious thoughts, it is very important not to force the thoughts away.

Let the thoughts in. The more comfortable you can become with them, the better. These thoughts will never go away fully but what you can learn is to change your reaction to them. By changing your reaction to the anxious thoughts you become free of them. Once you establish a new way of reacting to the thoughts it does not matter if you have them or not. Your reaction is what defines the whole experience (and that applies to almost everything). Everybody experiences fleeting thoughts that many would consider scary or crazy. The difference between most people and somebody who gets caught up in them, is that the average person sees them for exactly what they are, fleeting anxious thoughts, and casually ignores them. The anxious person is at a disadvantage as they already have a certain level ofanxiety in their system. The thoughts easily spark feelings of further anxiety which builds into a cycle of fear. You break the cycle by changing how you react to the fearful thought. Here is an example of how to approach this: You are enjoying the way your day is going but then all of sudden a fearful thought comes to mind. Before you would react with anxiety to the idea and then try to force that thought out of your mind. This time, however, say: “That’s a fear of X. I could worry and even obsess over that but this time I’m going to do something different. I’m not going to react to it. I’m also not going to try and stop it either. I’m just going to label the thought and not react.” Then the thought comes again with more intensity and possibly with new ‘scary’ angles you never considered. When this happens you do exactly the same. As if you were observing a cloud passing overhead, you simply

  • -Observe it,
  • -Label it (fear of whatever), then
  • -Watch it as it passes by with no judgment.

  • -Move your attention on to what you were doing.

Observe, Label, Watch, Move on See the anxious thought for what it really is: -one of the thousands of fleeting sane and insane thoughts every one of us experiences daily. If you are a more indoors type of person then instead of thinking of the thoughts like clouds passing in the sky, you might try imagining a large cinema screen and the anxious thoughts are projected out onto the screen in front of you. Play around with this approach. Find what works for you. The key thing to remember is to: Observe, Label, Watch, Move on By practicing this approach you gradually stop reacting with fear to the thought and you learn to treat it as nothing more than an odd peculiarity. When you are at a stage where you are comfortable doing the above exercise and you feel you are making good progress, then try this additional step: Actually invite one of your more regular fearful thoughts in. Call the fear to you, say you just want it to come close so you can observe it. It may seem like the last thing you would wish to bring upon yourself, as you don’t particularly enjoy these thoughts but this approach can be very empowering. You are now calling the shots. You actually invited the issue in. By doing this you are discharging the dense vibration of fear surrounding the anxious thought. That fear was sustaining itself on your resistance, -the idea that you could not handle these thoughts. The fear quickly evaporates when you turn around and say “yes of course I can handle these thoughts.” Fear intensifies when we pull away from it. Anxious thoughts become a mental tug of war if we struggle with them. It is the mental struggle of pulling against the anxious thoughts that creates the inner psychological tension. The inner tension is fueled by thoughts like:

  • “I can’t handle to think about this -please go away”
  • “I don’t like that thought- I want it to stop!”

Take a different stance. Invite anxious thoughts in. Willingly sit with them, label them and do your very best not to react. Yes, it does take practice but very soon you find yourself in a unique position of control. You are no longer a victim of fearful thinking but a decision maker in what you will or will not be concerned about. As with every technique there is always a level of practice involved in the beginning. Initially you start observing but then suddenly get anxious about the fearful thought. That’s very normal in the beginning. Keep at it. Practice and you will quickly see how less impacting those fearful thoughts become. Do not let your mind trick you into believing that your anxiety is something you will always have to struggle with. That is simply not true. Not alone is it possible to control the occurrence of anxious thoughts but I can teach you how to end panic attacks and general anxiety if that is your goal. You can have the life of your dreams. Anxiety does not have the right to steal that hope from you. I’m going to e-mail you my mini series. It will help reduce anxiety levels significantly. Here is a small sample of how the course has helped others: …learned more from reading your program than I did from all the psychologists and other practitioners I had seen in the 25 years I must tell you that out of all the items you can purchase regarding anxiety related products on the internet, I learned more from reading your program than I did from all the psychologists and other practitioners I had seen in the 25 years that I’ve had this condition. I had been on Xanax and Klonopin for about 10 years, but this December, I decided to withdraw from it thinking I didn’t need the pills anymore according to some of the programs I ordered claiming “miracle cures”. That’s when all my symptoms started again. I felt as if I had wasted the past 20 years trying to get better. That’s when I started searching the web for home based “cures”. I ordered so many programs I started to get confused from too much conflicting advice. Also, I was promised support but I am still waiting replies from some of the more expensive programs! You are a true gentleman, and I am going to post a very positive feedback on a website you might be familiar about called: Tapir? Talk to ya, Andy =================================< …I DEBATED ORDERING YOUR PROGRAM BECAUSE I HAVE SPENT APPROX. $8,000 IN THE LAST 5 YEARS I RAN ACROSS YOUR PROGRAM SUNDAY, FEB. 5th. I DEBATED ORDERING YOUR PROGRAM BECAUSE I HAVE SPENT APPROX. $8,000 IN THE LAST 5 YEARS OF MY LIFE TRYING EVERYTHING FROM PANIC SUPPORT CLASSES, MEDICATION, COUNSELING AND THE LIST GOES ON, ALL TO RID MYSELF OF PANIC ATTACKS. SOMETHING INSIDE ME SAID, JUST KEEP TRYING, SO I DID. AFTER 5 YEARS OF OF LIVING MY LIFE WITH THE WORLD ON MY SHOULDERS I AM EXCITED TO SAY THAT I AM NOW PANIC FREE. AFTER ONE TIME OF APPLYING YOUR ONE MOVE TECHNIQUE, I AM A NEW PERSON. ONE OF MY MANY FEARS THAT I DEVELOPED WAS DRIVING. AFTER READING YOUR PROGRAM AT 12.30 AT NIGHT I WROTE DOWN SOME QUICK NOTES FROM YOUR “ONE MOVE TECH.” I RAN OUT OF MY HOUSE AND DROVE TOWARD THE DARKEST SCARIEST ROAD WHERE NOBODY WAS NEAR BY. THIS WOULD DEFINITLY BRING ON AN FULL PANIC ATTACK, WHICH IT DID. WHILE LETTING MYSELF FEEL THE EMOTIONS RUN THROUGH ME, I DID EXACTLY WHAT YOU TOLD ME TO DO, I WAS SCARED AS HELL BUT STOOD MY GROUND. I INSTANTLY CALMED AND EVEN TRIED TO BRING THE ATTACK BACK ON, BUT COULD NOT. I LITTERALLY LAUGHED OUT LOUD AND SAT IN MY TRUCK AMAZED. AFTER ALL THIS TIME THAT WAS ALL I HAD TO DO. Depression Test – Do I Have Depression?

It’s not the easiest thing in the world to diagnose, after all, we all feel down from time to time. Especially after we suffer a loss of some kind. So what makes the difference between having ‘the blues’ and having depression? In this article we’ll explore the line between these two mood states.
Although it can be difficult to differentiate, the one main difference between these two mood states is that depression lasts longer and can lead to a significant loss of interest in life activities that the person used to find interesting or enjoyable. Symptoms can also include (but are not limited to):
Excessive fatigue, sadness and crying for no reason, pain in the body, trouble sleeping, excessive negative thought patterns, a feeling of pessimism, avoidance of physical activity or exercise, overeating or under-eating and weight gain/loss, excessive anger, moodiness, frustration and sometimes thoughts of self harm or planning to self harm.
This article includes a short, simple depression test below:
Place a number 1-4 next to the questions 1 – 18. Here is the key:

1 = Not at all
2 = Some of the time
3 = Most of the time
4 = All of the time
  1. I do things more slowly than usual.
  2. My future seems completely hopeless.
  3. It is difficult for me to concentrate on reading or other activities.
  4. All of the pleasure and joy has disappeared from my life.
  5. I have great difficulty in making decisions.
  6. I’ve lost interest in activities/things that used to be important to me.
  7. I feel sad.
  8. I feel agitated and can’t sit still.
  9. I feel fatigued.
  10. I have to use much effort to even do simple things.
  11. I feel that I am a bad person and I deserve to be punished. I feel guilty.
  12. I feel as though I am a failure
  13. My vitality is gone.
  14. I have trouble sleeping.
  15. I think about how to kill myself.
  16. I feel as though I am trapped.
  17. Even when good things happen to me I feel depressed.
  18. I have lost or gained weight for no obvious reason.

Now add up the numbers. The higher the score the more likely it is that you may be suffering from depression.
Another depression test is that old faithful; you intuition or ‘gut feeling’. In other words if you really suspect that you might have depression and you have felt this way of some time then it is more possible.
Many doctors will tell you that depression is an illness that must be treated with medication, although there are a number of other viewpoints on this. Personally when I went through depression I was reluctant to take medication and sought out alternative, natural methods. These worked well for me and has worked for countless others also. Whether or not you try medication or more natural methods is of course completely your call.
Once you have completed a depression test and found that you might be suffering you may wish to speak to a therapist, psychologist or counselor for some further assistance and treatment options.
One fresh approach that has been getting great results is called the ‘mindfulness and acceptance approach.’ Having been through depression myself, I am a strong believer in this and have based my website and educational products on these techniques.
Whatever path you choose, it’s good to bear in mind that things are never hopeless. Thousands upon thousands have recovered from even deep depression and therein lies the proof that it is very possible to overcome.

Screw Guilt!!

It does not matter if you stay at home, work out of the home, are single, married, a parent to many or a parent of one; all parent  have one thing in common–guilt. Parents often feel not able to give enough of themselves and linger over errors they’ve made. However, guilt feelings don’t have to command your life. Follow these steps to work towards freeing yourself from parent s guilt.
Pinpoint precisely what you feel guilty about. Your guilt might be telling you that there’s something you need to alter in your life.
Look intimately at your priorities. Make a list of what is all-important for the health and happiness of your loved ones. What is significant to your loved ones might not matter to other families and the other way around. Be strong with your priorities.
Construct more time for your loved ones. Even though you are a parent, you can’t do everything, so if it is not on your precedence list then get in the habit of stating “No.”
Live in the here and now. The errors you’ve made are over and through with. Forgive yourself for your errors, learn from them and leave them in the past tense.
Determine limits for your youngsters. As a parent you’re responsible for the well-being of your youngsters, as well as helping them to formulate their personal character. Instructing them to respect the boundaries you have set is a crucial lesson, and is one that you ought to never feel guilty about implementing.
Adopt time for yourself. Even though it might seem inconceivable to find the time, if you’re debilitated emotionally or physically then you have nothing to give your youngsters. Plus, you ought to take time for yourself exclusively for the fact that you’re worth it.

Hidden Self in the Healing Processes

Working toward healing the hidden being, for some is next to impossible. Most of the problems people have when working toward self-healing arises from misconceptions, doubts, or fears. The fear is often the root of the problem that hinders the person from discovering self.

The hidden self is buried in the subliminal conscious, which makes up our unconscious and subconscious mind. In this area, the mind is unintentional, yet millions of problems emerge because it is triggered.

When the mind is triggered, the emotions kick in and react to whatever memory the trigger hit. For instance, if the trigger stimulated a sad memory, such as the loss of a loved one, thus the emotions will react accordingly. You may find yourself in tears and many times not know why despite that memory emerged. This is because you did not have a resolve. Rather you repressed memories of the loved one dying. The repressed memories sunk, deep in your subliminal mind, which they rest until you are willing to discover why you feel the way you do.

Of course, grievance comes along with death. You probably openly grieved during the time your loved one died, which is normal, yet instead of facing the reality and going on with your life fully; you likely buried some of the pain in the subliminal mind. Moreover, something in your past could have triggered you.

In other words, perhaps long ago in your past, a similar action occurred, which at this time you were not ready to handle the stress and pain. You perhaps repressed the memories, which may had triggered other memories during the time of the loved ones death.

All of our pain and suffering comes from our past experiences, knowledge, learning, observations and so on. Everything we feel develops over the years and builds up. Most of the memories we may recall, yet many of these memories we often repress, which later nags us until we explore the subliminal conscious mind to find answers.

In this turn of events, hidden self in the healing processes becomes a task, yet if we have useful techniques and practice them daily, the task of subliminal learning becomes lighter.

How to discover useful techniques for self-healing:
Visiting the Internet is the place to find useful techniques for self-healing. Over the past 3 or 4 years, self-healing has been a major topic. You will find scores of articles that can assist you with the processes of healing the subliminal self. In the meantime, consider meditation.

Go to a peaceful environment. Recline, lying back, stretching your entire body in a comfortable position. Make sure that all distractions are removed.

Close your eyes. If you feel uneasy when closing your eyes then leave, your eyes open. You will need your visual tools. Using visualization picture yourself anywhere you wish to be. Put your self in natural surroundings. Studies show that people who connect with nature often heal sooner. Go to a faraway land. Visit any country you like, or any area in the world that you like. Allow your thoughts to express memories. Even if the memories come in parts, allow your memories to show you to the way to self-healing.

With each thought, move to acceptance, Even if the memory is something that causes you pain. Learn to accept that these are the things you can’t change; rather these memories are part of what made you who you are today. Continue. As you meditate, continue into the faraway area you visualized. Upon the point of complete relaxation, commence to explore your mind.

Consciousness in Healing the Hidden Self

The acts of self-consciousness and self-control go hand in hand. The fact is that when we are self-conscious we are better able to exhibit self-control. There are many persons out there that are not self aware or conscious of themselves and they are not in control of their emotions and actions. Being self-aware is important as it can affect or self-development and progression through life. It is crucial that we are able to be aware of all that we do and say and know that these things will affect circumstances as well. Being self-conscious is not always a bad thing as we like to think but if we relate it to being self-aware, we see the benefits.

If we are self-aware, it is less likely that we will act on impulse. It is more likely the case that we will be ready and able to assess a situation properly and show self-control in deciding how to approach the situation. The self-awareness that we possess will therefore directly affect our self-control. It is crucial that we are able to become self-aware persons in order to grab control of our emotions and actions. This can be done in many ways but these depend on the will power of the individual involved and the desire to take control of their lives.

Some of the ways to move the process to self-awareness and self-control along include the need for professional assistance. There are many programmes that offer techniques to assist in this process. These are offered by many self-development persons and are a good start if we do not have the time or will power to devote to the process on our own. We may not make the time unless we are enrolled in a class or unless we are motivated externally to do so. In these cases, the programmes can be a great starting point.

If we do have some self-control then it is good to try the other option of working on self-awareness and control on our own. There are many persons that have highlighted the great benefits of the use of meditation. This can assist the individual greatly as it leads the exploration into self and opens the awareness that is needed for better self-control. Meditation has numerous benefits to its users aside from these. It has been reputed to be of assistance in stress relief and the prevention of more serious illnesses such as heart disease and many more. The relaxing effect of meditation and the exploration into self-are able to translate to a better awareness overall and better self control.

The downside of meditation is that it can take a while to reap benefits and there are often persons that will become bored with the process and not give the method the required time to assist them. Meditation is not an overnight fix by any means and can take months and years of dedication for you to achieve all the results. The meditation process requires quiet and peace, which can often be hard for many of us to source. Not all these challenges however stop the fact that it is one of the best ways to grasp control of self and become more self-aware.

There are other factors that can assist and that can lead you down the road to better self-awareness and self-control. There is a lot of information available in self-development sites that show you the importance of self-awareness and self-control to your life. These are things that can greatly affect the quality of your life and should not be disregarded.

How Brainwave Entrainment Technology Enhances Self-Healing Techniques For Better Living

For centuries now, people have been looking for holistic means of healing the body, the mind, and the spirit. While most ancient methods are based on seemingly unproven techniques, one fact that ancient luminaries got right is the fact that in most cases, healing can come from within.
We all have the ability within us to heal ourselves, be it our mind, our body, or our spirit. This self-healing ability lies deep within the most important part of our being: our subconscious mind. We may feel that we are consciously aware of our actions, but the truth is that it is our subconscious mind that drives us and every single action we make.

It is also the subconscious mind that is responsible for our state of being. Be it emotional or physical, every aspect of our life is greatly dependent on our subconscious mind. Thanks to modern technology, we now have the means to not only monitor, but alter our subconscious mind and how it operates. This technology is known simply as Brainwave Entrainment.
What exactly is Brainwave Entrainment? Before we can understand that specific term, we must first answer the question, “What are brainwaves?” Brainwaves are patterns of electrical activity within the brain, and they can be measured using an electroencephalogram (or EEG) machine to give an indication of a person’s mental state. Each state a person is in would yield different brainwave activity; for example when asleep, a person’s brainwaves would be shown to be at their least active, measuring only up to 4 cycles per second.
Brainwave entrainment makes use of Delta and Alpha frequencies to affect someone who is asleep.  The healing process is begun when the two frequencies is then linked to both sides of the brain. This type of self-healing techniques is used by the medical science industry for a very long period and now it is even being introduced in the market. People can now access to those self-healing devices easily everywhere. The devices are specially designed to be portable, thus, making it convenient for people to carry around.
Brainwave entrainment self-healing techniques bring forth positive forces throughout the entire process. This technology can certainly aid in speeding up your recovery. Not trying to put down other types of self-healing techniques which have been spread around for decades, but those techniques are really time consuming and energy draining. In the current fast paced society, it is not feasible for people to follow the step by step guide of traditional self-healing techniques and that will be way too time-consuming. However, there is an alternative method to do so; that is by using brainwave entrainment technology which offers the same results in a shorter period.
Scientists have found out that the reason behind the accelerated healing is associated with the particular brainwave frequencies. They are still researching on ways stimulate those frequencies to enhance the healing process. By using the brainwave entrainment technology, frequencies like Alpha and Delta will be induced within the cortical hemispheres of your brain to stimulate the entire healing process.

How Can I Solve My Problem? The answer is “information” … … and the information is here!

We hear reports around the globe of the many souls that suffer depression, because of overwhelming stress. With wars, poverty, and violence going on around us is it any wonder that depression is an issue? Statistics has proven that depression links to increased heart attacks and heart disease. Researchers have not proved that depression is the cause of heart disease, but they do feel it is a contribution. Depression is also the root for suicidal increase. Yet the fatal mistake that doctors make is over medicating the patient. Medications not only suppress the problem, but it contributes to medical issues. The result, the problem is still there. Everyday studies are finding new information and yet the information is often tossed to the backseat while traditional treatments continue.
New studies reveal that in contrast, intellectual and in depth, research coupled with insight helps scientist understand depression. After study the mental illness, closely they concluded in once study that depression is possibly linked to existing heart diseases that are a result of
With premature death-related to heart disease caused by premature changes in women. In other words, postmenopausal issues were said to be linked. After careful research, it was shown that antidepressant drugs might cause more harm to patients. Observers that watched these women claimed that women were at higher risk of heart attacks while inducing antidepressants. The Archives of Internal Medicines after conducting surveys claimed that more than 90,000 women over the age of fifty and out of 16 percent suffered major depression. This was half the women and this half was taking antidepressants. The researchers continued their studies and found that postmenopausal women suffered depression, and because of taking antidepressants, over half the women were at risk of death related to heart diseases.
In 2010, new researchers concluded that the percentage of women at risk would also be subject to fractured bones, and that more than 8,000 women over 65 were prescribed medications and the medicines had affected the central nervous system. Researchers deduced that after taking prescribed drugs for five years the women were noticeably showing risks of fracturing bones, and those that did not take the drugs lived healthier lives. After careful studies researchers concluded that, the prescribed drugs were the linking cause of psychical symptoms. In order to reduce depression, one must exercise, eat healthy, write in journals, and use self-induced analytic profiling and evaluation of self. It is extremely important that a person come to understand their handicap and deal with it. More studies have shown that when the spine is out of alignment, or injured that it links to depression, which is often caused by stress. Often when we visit our Chiropractor, he/she can help us to get our spine back in alignment, which has proven to relieve stress and depression.
In spite of the studies that concluded that antidepressants could put a patient at risk doctors around the globe, still take out their prescription pads and start writing. Often the problem is ignored and blame is placed on the patients, while the doctors continue prescribing.
Now you must ask the question, are you at risk? If so, you need to take care that you consult with the proper physician. Ask him to monitor your issues carefully and sway him away from prescribing antidepressants.
Stay alert to your mental health and avoid floundering, as this contributes to depression. There are solutions to any problems that will work for you. Get out of the house and socialize. Take up a sport that you may enjoy. Read a damn good book or write one yourself. Writing is a gift, an art, and a contribution to Freedom of Speech; let the words flow.
As I analyzed this distraction, I concluded, that depression is a mask of broken memories backed with links to medical issues formed and ignored. The spinal and nervous system are remarkably relative if not constituting the main cause of this distraction. What happens is people that suffer fail to exercise, sit straight, bend appropriately, and so forth. The result, the spine is dislocated. When the spine is out of line, problems will arise.
Depression can kill only if you let it!

Feeling Down and Self Mastery

What Causes People to Feel Upset

There is many things that can make people upset. When people get upset it is normally because someone has hurt their feeling. It doesn’t feel good when you are upset. Other reasons people feel upset is that they lack the skills they need to improve their life. Each day they may struggle to find answers, yet the answers seem out of their reach. They may wander through life asking other people what is wrong with them, when all they had to do in the first place is reach deep within where they would find the answers to resolve their problems. They lack self-mastery skills.

Because most people’s emotions are sensitive, many things can cause a person to feel upset. People often feel sad, or hurt when someone calls them names, yet the names they are called is often not the root of the real problem.

What are some things that might get someone upset?
Just think about it when you hear someone talk to about your or even call you names that are not good ones. How does this make you feel?  You may think that this person is not your friend. Truly, if the person calls you names, then they are not your friend, but if that person gives, you sound advice and you become angry…then you are not the friend.  Therefore, what do you do when this happens all you can do is walk away or try to talk to them. May when you talk to them you will be able to find out why they are doing this to you. Often you have to let go of the negative and get with positive people to help you develop self-mastery skills.

Another thing that might make you upset or feel blue would be if your child would call you out of your name this isn’t a good thing. We are there for our children though thick and thin. Then to have your child call you out of your name would just tear you up. Therefore, what should you do when this happens to you? I would think when something like this happens to you that you should sit down and have a talk to them. Maybe a good grounding is in order. It depends how bad they have hurt your feelings.

What should you do if some one at work upsets you? If this should happen then you have some other choices that you are able to do. The first thing that you should do is talk to that person and finds out why they are making you upset. If this doesn’t help then going to your boss or Forman and asking to talk to them, you are going to want to explain why you are feeling up set and ask them to do something to help you. Maybe they will be able to talk to them and help to get the answers your want to get.

What are you going to do if you’re not able to pay your bills? When you are not able to pay your bills, you’re going to feel inadequate. You have to pay your bills in order to be able to live so what do you do when this happens. When this happens to you then you might want to see about making some kind of payment plans this works a lot of times, if your not able to do this then maybe a close friend or even a family member can help you though times like this is want friends and family is all about help when in need.

When you get up set, you’re going to have to remember that you will need to stay calm. If you’re not able to do this then you might want to stay away from that person that get you all upset, just until your able to talk to them to explain how you are feeling

What Are Hypnotic Language Patterns

What are hypnotic language patterns?

What are hypnotic language patterns?

Language is an interesting thing. The most amazing thing isn’t that we
get confused by it but that we’re able to use it so well without

Language is such a powerful tool that, in skilled hands, it can be used
to persuade, motivate, seduce and even harm.

That’s right, in skilled hands (or mouths?) language can even create
addictions and depression.

This power comes from learning what are called hypnotic language

Hypnotic language patterns came out of the studies of hypnosis,
psychology and sales.  When language patterns were first
discovered the psychotherapy community realized that they could be used
inappropriately. They then made a sincere effort to limit instruction
of language patterns only to psychiatrists willing to pay $2000 for the
weekend training.

These language patterns entered the popular culture with weekend long
“seduction seminars” that began to spring up to
teach lonely and clueless men how talk women into an uncontrollable
state of arousal.

Now before you start to roll your eyes in disbelief let me tell you
that these language patterns did just that! There are scores of now
satisfied men who will attest to their power.

An example of these seduction patterns is one in which the man simple
begins talking to a woman about emotions and feelings that precede
arousal. There is nothing lurid or suggestive about this because it’s
not about arousal or sex itself. At an unconscious level it sets the
stage for warm tingly feelings that might elicit a tilt of the head, a
smile and a flirtatious glance.

Seduction is only one side of how language patterns are being
used.  They are of course very useful in sales and influence
and many a politician have hired speech writers who training in these
powerful tools. Ronald Reagan wasn’t known as “The Teflon
President” without reason. He could woo and amuse the most
uninterested audience by using language. Likewise in spite of the
scandals around him Bill Clinton always was able to be liked as a

In recent years there have even been language pattern trainings that
emphasize how to use language to induce guilt, depression and suicide.
While these trainers have been condemned for “turning to the
dark side” there is no limit of people wanting to learn.

These language patterns often begin by painting the dark picture of the
future and describe feelings of hopelessness and despair.

But the genie is out of the bottle now and people who want power,
whether it’s to help or to harm, are attending seminars and trainings
as well as reading the many books on the subject.

To conclude, never underestimate the power of words. They are used on
you in ways that you might never imagine.
